The Seoul High Court stated on the 16th, "Unless there are special circumstances in the future, the defendant will continue to enter the court in the usual manner." The Seoul High Court is responsible for the security and management of the Seoul Court Complex, which includes the Seoul Central District Court where former President Yoon's trial is being held.

On May 12, former President Yoon made a public appearance through the west entrance of the court building for the third trial session on charges of leading an insurrection, presided over by Chief Judge Ji Guyoun of the 25th Criminal Division at the Seoul Central District Court. Although the press set up a photo line in front of the entrance at that time, former President Yoon entered the courtroom without responding to any questions from reporters.

Unlike the first and second trial sessions last month, the Seoul High Court did not accept the Presidential Security Service's request to allow entry through the underground parking lot for the third session. It has been reported that the Security Service has not made a similar request for underground entry for the fourth trial session of former President Yoon on the 19th.

The court will also strengthen security at the court building ahead of former President Yoon's trial. From 8 p.m. on the 16th until midnight on the 19th, entry of general vehicles into the court premises will be completely prohibited, except for public and essential service vehicles. In addition, some entrances will be closed, and thorough security checks will be conducted at the remaining entry points.

A court official said, "Parties to the trial and those involved in the case need to prepare to enter the court on time, taking into account possible congestion near the court and the time required for security checks, so that there are no delays in the scheduled proceedings."
