The Gangwon Visit Year website was created to provide travelers to Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province with more convenient and efficient travel information. It offers details on the main initiatives of the Gangwon Visit Year, monthly recommended destinations, a variety of events, and special discount information.
Through the website, visitors can find a diverse array of information and events, including: monthly recommended destination-linked discounts, the Gangwon Tourism Accommodation Festival that offers accommodation discounts in Gangwon Province, and the Gangwon Tourism Challenge, an event that certifies visits to all 18 cities and counties. These offerings are designed to spark tourists' interest and enhance the enjoyment of traveling in Gangwon.
To commemorate the launch of the official Gangwon Visit Year website, a special event will be held. The "Website Registration Verification Event," which runs for one month starting on May 16, can be entered through the Gangwon Visit Year website and the Gangwon Tourism Organization's Instagram account. Winners will be selected by lottery and awarded Gangwon The Mall gift certificates.
