In particular, last month, Jeollanam-do provided 4 million won to purchase items for coastal safety keepers, distributing eight types of goods, including sneakers, to 28 keepers in the province. Other organizations also actively shared their opinions on providing support. The Metropolitan Coastal Accident Prevention Council has been operating since 2016 to strengthen the cooperative prevention system, and this year marks its 10th meeting.
An official from the Seohae Regional Coast Guard stated, "We will make even greater efforts to strengthen collaboration among related organizations and foster a culture of coastal safety through this council."
