Donggu Master Artisan Exhibition
Showcasing the Artistic Spirit of Renowned Masters and Artisans
Gwangju Donggu District announced on May 15 that it will hold the Donggu Master Artisan Exhibition, where visitors can experience works infused with the artistic spirit of renowned masters and artisans.
Running until May 21 at the exhibition hall on the first floor of the ACC Hotel, the exhibition is themed "Illuminating Art with the Hands of Artisans" and will showcase 20 works by 19 members of the Donggu Master Artisan Association, who are active in fields such as tailoring, crafts, beauty, and media art.
This exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to see in one place works that reflect the diverse personalities and sensibilities of each member, and is expected to provide a memorable experience.
Jeong Insun, president of the Master Artisan Association, said, "It is deeply rewarding to see artisans from different backgrounds and genres come together, communicate through their works, and collaborate to produce such valuable results as a united association. We will continue to dedicate ourselves to preserving the spirit and value of true craftsmanship."
Lim Taek, head of Donggu District Office, stated, "The works and spirit created by masters, renowned artists, and artisans who have lived in Donggu for decades will become assets that contribute to the strength and dignity of our city. We will continue to provide various forms of support so that they can pursue their creative activities with pride and vitality."
