On May 15, the Democratic Party held the inauguration and policy delivery ceremony for the Pyunsanism Committee, which operates under the Central Election Countermeasures Committee.

During the inauguration ceremony held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building, Chung Dongyoung, Chairman of the Korean Peninsula Peace Economy Committee, stated, "Let us reopen the Kaesong Industrial Complex," adding, "The June 3 presidential election is a historic one. It will be a major turning point for peace and economic transformation."

Kim Taenyeon, Co-Chairman of the Pyunsanism Committee, described the organization as "one that aims to restore a comfortable life, peaceful daily routines, and a safe community to the people, while establishing a clear national vision and strategy." He added, "We are now preparing to design a new era."

Jin Sunmi, Co-Chairwoman of the Pyunsanism Committee, emphasized, "The economy is security, and peace is also security. All of these are interconnected," stressing, "This is the direction that leads to happiness for everyone."

Yoon Yeojoon, Standing Chief Director of the Election Countermeasures Committee, remarked, "It should not end with a simple change of government," and stated, "This must be a turning point to rebuild South Korea's defense, diplomacy, and peace framework, as well as to restore the safety net for the lives of the people."

The Pyunsanism Committee comprehensively coordinates and presents peace, security, and public safety policies within the election committee. Under the committee, there are the Korean Peninsula Peace Economy Committee (Chairman: Chung Dongyoung), the Northeast Asia Peace Cooperation Committee (Chairman: Wi Sunglak), the North Korean Defectors Committee (Chairman: Song Jaebong), the National Defense and Security Committee (Chairman: Hwang Inkwon), the Economic Security Committee (Chairman: Kim Taenyeon), the Veterans and National Identity Committee (Chairman: Hwang Kicheol), the Disaster and Accident Countermeasures Committee (Chairman: Han Byungdo), and the National Safety and Social Committee (Chairman: Kim Kyohung).
