At a press conference held in the main conference room of the National Assembly that day, Floor Leader Seo said, "The most representative victims of prosecutorial power are former Innovation Party leader Cho Kuk and Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea."

Seo outlined three major tasks for the Innovation Party: legislative reforms of the prosecution, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Board of Audit and Inspection; legislative initiatives for political reform, including easing requirements for forming a third negotiation bloc in the National Assembly and introducing a runoff voting system; and livelihood legislation aimed at making Korea an advanced country in social rights.

Seo emphasized, "Among these, the top priority is to immediately enact the 'Four Prosecution Reform Bills,' which have already been proposed by Innovation Party lawmakers and are currently pending in the National Assembly." He added, "We will mobilize all legislative capabilities of our parliamentary group to dismantle the entrenched vested interests of unelected power reigning over the sovereign people and to restore constitutional order."

Regarding the easing of requirements for forming a negotiation bloc in the National Assembly, Seo explained, "The agreement from the roundtable meeting with the Democratic Party and others clearly states that legislation on negotiation bloc requirements will be enacted after the presidential election." He continued, "The intention is to carry out the necessary procedural work before the election so that the law can be passed immediately afterward." Seo further noted, "The basic direction has already been firmly agreed upon, and bills from both the Democratic Party and our party have been proposed. We will proceed based on the agreements and trust built with the Democratic Party."
