Deokhwa, Chief Monk of Myeongunsa Temple in Gyeongju, Donates Wildfire Relief Funds to Yeongdeok-eup, Yeongdeok County

Deokhwa, the chief monk of Myeongunsa Temple located in Guhwang-dong, Gyeongju, visited Yeongdeok-eup on May 13 and donated 10 million won to help the residents of Yeongdeok County who suffered significant damage from a large wildfire.

Deokhwa stated, "All the donations collected by the temple's followers for Buddha's Birthday have been contributed to deliver hope to the victims of the Yeongdeok wildfire," and added, "Although it is a small gesture, I hope it will bring comfort and encouragement to the people of Yeongdeok County."
