National Hangeul Museum and Sejong Foundation Sign Standard Agreement
Promoting the Hangeul Playground Sejong Hall Exhibition
Cooperation in Exhibition, Content Development, and Event Operation
The National Hangeul Museum, the Sejong Special Self-Governing City, and the Sejong Foundation for Culture and Tourism announced on May 14 that they will sign a comprehensive standard agreement for the exhibition of the Hangeul Playground Sejong Hall.
This agreement was established to enable the three institutions to systematically collaborate on the planning and operation of the Hangeul Playground exhibition, which allows children to enjoyably experience the principles and creativity of Hangeul. Through the agreement, the three organizations plan to cooperate on the following: ▲ exhibition planning and content development for the Hangeul Playground ▲ operation of exhibitions and events ▲ strategies for promotion and attracting visitors.
The Hangeul Playground is a popular exhibition facility at the museum, designed as a space where children can naturally learn and experience the principles of Hangeul through play. It includes communication experience elements and immersive content utilizing advanced technology. By collaborating with Sejong City and the foundation, the museum aims to present Hangeul cultural content that resonates with Sejong citizens at the Sejong Culture and Arts Center, thereby contributing to the spread of Hangeul culture in the region.
Kang Jeongwon, Director of the museum, stated, "Through active cooperation with Sejong City and the foundation, we plan to successfully open the Hangeul Playground and further develop unique Hangeul cultural content specific to Sejong City to create a differentiated Hangeul Playground for the region. We will also expand Hangeul Playgrounds as regional hubs in the future."
