Developing Unique Menus to Capture Summer Demand
Concession Business Achieves 19% Annual Growth
CJ Freshway announced on May 14 that it has revamped its food and beverage services at leisure and recreational facilities nationwide ahead of the summer peak season. The company plans to actively target seasonal demand by introducing customized new menus and specialized services at major locations such as water parks and golf courses.
A representative from CJ Freshway stated, "The concession business division has recorded an average annual growth rate of 19% over the past three years," adding, "Our multifaceted, customer-tailored services have been highly effective."
At Water Planet, located within Welli Hilli Park in Hoengseong, Gangwon Province, the company has launched unique menu items inspired by the 'Planet of Water' theme. The menu includes 'Planet Pork Cutlet' shaped like a planet, 'Coconut Shrimp French Fries,' and 'Baby Star Slush.' Starting next month, customers who order the 'Planet Set' will receive specially designed merchandise inspired by spaceship boarding passes.
For golf courses, CJ Freshway has introduced the 'Gourmet & Golf' concept and launched new menu items. This month's offerings include 'Whole Eel Cold Udon,' a health food featuring an entire fried eel, and 'Hot Pot Pork Jajang,' a specialty dish combining savory black bean sauce with spicy stir-fried pork.
