Traveling Egypt on My Own Route
On May 13, Jeonju City in North Jeolla Province invited travel journalist and writer Yoo Uimin to give a lecture titled "Travel the World Now" at the Cheotmajungil Traveler's Library.

Yoo Uimin, who delivered this lecture, is currently working as a contributing journalist for the travel magazine "Travie." She also contributes travel articles to various media outlets, including Women's Donga, and appears on travel radio podcasts, actively presenting a wide range of travel content.
Her major publications include "Assalam Alaikum Egypt" and "I Go to Work to Travel."
During the lecture, which was themed "Traveling Egypt on My Own Route," Yoo shared vivid stories from her personal experiences traveling independently in Egypt.
She also provided citizens with her know-how on essential aspects of traveling in Egypt, including ▲creating a personalized travel route in Egypt, ▲preparing for an Egypt trip such as currency exchange and clothing, and ▲choosing accommodations with pyramid views.
The Cheotmajungil Traveler's Library plans to continue operating the "Travel the World Now" program, which shares vivid travel stories from around the globe. In July and September, lectures focusing on travel to Japan and Mongolia, respectively, are scheduled to follow.
Choi Hyunchang, Director of Jeonju City Library Headquarters, said, "We plan to continue providing differentiated travel-specialized programs unique to the Cheotmajungil Traveler's Library, offering citizens both the joy of travel and practical information."
