It has been confirmed that the global luxury brand Dior has suffered a hacking incident.
According to industry sources on May 13, Dior recently sent an email to customers stating, "On May 7, we became aware that, on January 26, an unauthorized third party accessed certain customer data," and added, "We immediately took measures to contain the breach."
Dior explained that, according to its own investigation, the leaked information included customer names, titles, mobile phone numbers, email addresses, and postal addresses. However, the company stated that no financial information, such as bank details or credit card information, was included.
Dior also announced that it has reported the hacking incident to the relevant regulatory authorities and is investigating and responding to the incident in cooperation with cybersecurity experts. The company further urged customers to be cautious of suspicious activities or contacts via text messages, phone calls, or emails, and to avoid clicking on links or opening attachments from unknown sources.
