Hite Jinro to Raise Beer Shipment Prices by 2.7% Citing Higher Raw Material Costs

From May 28, beer products such as Terra and Kelly will see price increases
500mL cans and certain items like Filite excluded from the hike

Hite Jinro will raise the factory shipment prices of its beer products.

On May 13, Hite Jinro announced that it will increase the shipment prices of major beer products such as "Terra" and "Kelly" by an average of 2.7% starting May 28, citing reasons such as rising prices of key raw materials and ingredients.

In order to ease the burden on consumers, Hite Jinro has decided to keep the current prices for certain items, including the 500mL can products that account for high sales in the home channel and Filite, a cost-effective happoshu product that has emerged as an alternative during this period of high inflation. The rate of increase has also been set at the minimum level, taking into consideration the economic situation and the burden on the restaurant industry.
