ChildFund Korea and Haegin Provide Emergency Living Support to Families with Children Affected by Wildfire

On May 13, ChildFund Korea (Chairman Hwang Youngki), a child welfare organization, announced that it will provide emergency living expenses to families with children affected by the large-scale wildfire in the North Gyeongsang region, in partnership with global game company Haegin. ChildFund Korea plans to deliver approximately 14 million KRW, donated by Haegin, as emergency living expenses to five households with children under the age of 18 who are struggling to make ends meet due to wildfire damage.

This donation was raised through a program in which Haegin employees participated by purchasing beverages at the company cafeteria, with all proceeds from last year's cafeteria sales donated to support children.

Lee Wongun, Executive Director of Management Planning at Haegin, stated, "Haegin has been working to create a structure where employee welfare and social contributions are harmoniously connected. We will continue our efforts to establish a sustainable culture of sharing. We hope that the warm-heartedness of our employees will be well delivered to children and families in need."

Shin Jeongwon, Head of Social Contribution Cooperation at ChildFund Korea, expressed gratitude by saying, "We deeply appreciate Haegin for practicing warm sharing for children. ChildFund Korea will continue to provide necessary support so that families and children affected by the wildfire can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
