Seoul Energy Corporation Practices ESG Management Through Employee Donations

Supporting People with Disabilities and the Underprivileged
Through the Goodwill Store Donation Campaign

Seoul Energy Corporation is practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management through a goods donation campaign driven by the voluntary participation of its executives and employees.

The corporation announced on the 12th that, through its employee goods donation campaign in the first half of this year, a total of 3,167 items (worth approximately 9 million KRW) were delivered to Goodwill Store. This campaign, which began in 2021 as part of the post-COVID-19 initiative, has continued for five years and, thanks to the enthusiastic response from employees, has been expanded to twice a year since 2023.

The donated items are sold at the Goodwill Store Milal Gangseo branch at affordable prices to local residents, and the proceeds are used as a fund to support the self-reliance of people with disabilities and underprivileged groups in the community.

Hwang Bo-yeon, CEO of Seoul Energy Corporation, stated, “In addition to goods donations, the corporation is continuously carrying out various social contribution activities involving employees, such as sharing holiday foods and distributing Kimjang Kimchi with love. We will continue to discover and promote various activities that can foster mutual growth with the local community.”
