Bae, Kim & Lee Recruits Former Supreme Court Judicial Researcher Yoon Hwarang

Law firm Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (Taepyungyang) has recruited attorney Yoon Hwarang, a former Supreme Court Judicial Researcher (Judicial Research and Training Institute, 34th class). After completing the Judicial Research and Training Institute in 2005, Yoon served as a legal officer in the Air Force and was appointed as a judge at the Seoul Southern District Court in 2008.


Yoon handled both civil and criminal cases at courts including the Seoul Central District Court, Changwon District Court, Uijeongbu District Court, and Gwangju District Court. While serving as a judge at the Seoul Central District Court, he worked for two years in a labor-specialized panel. During his time at the Mokpo Branch of the Gwangju District Court, he participated as a contributing editor for the Labor Trial Practice Manual. Yoon served as a Supreme Court Judicial Researcher for a total of five years over two terms in 2018 and 2023. At Bae, Kim & Lee, he will be responsible for a range of civil and criminal litigation, as well as lawsuits related to capital markets and financial investments, as a member of the financial litigation team.


Recently, Bae, Kim & Lee has strengthened its litigation capabilities by recruiting several former Supreme Court Judicial Researchers, including Kwon Oseok (29th class), Shin Shinho (31st class), Bae Junghyun (33rd class), Lee Sanghyun (37th class), Kang Junghui (37th class), and Park Eunjeong (39th class). According to Bae, Kim & Lee, Kwon Oseok and Shin Shinho, who both served as heads of civil and criminal judicial researchers at the Supreme Court, have achieved significant results in major civil and criminal cases, including the remanded humidifier disinfectant case, since joining the firm.


Kwon Soonik, managing partner at Bae, Kim & Lee, stated, "By recruiting former judges with specialized knowledge in various fields, we will be able to respond to complex litigation cases with greater speed and precision."
