On May 11, at the New Course (par 72) of Suwon Country Club in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, Lee shot a 3-under-par 69 in the final third round of the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour (total prize money: 1 billion won) to claim victory with a total score of 14-under-par 202. Following her win at the Doosan Engineering & Construction We’ve Championship last month, she became the first player to secure a second victory in the 2025 season. After winning three times in 2023 and three times last year, this marks her eighth career win. With the winner’s prize of 180 million won, she reclaimed both the top spot in the prize money ranking (529.64 million won) and the lead in the Player of the Year points.
Lee has now competed in the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship four times, finishing 5th, 3rd, 1st, and 1st, further cementing her status as the “Queen of Suwon Country Club.” Hong Jungmin, who won the first major of the year, the KLPGA Championship, finished second (12-under-par 204). Moon Jungmin and Kim Minbyeol tied for third place (11-under-par 205), delivering strong performances.
