At this year's expo, held under the theme "Everything About Travel, Connected by Local," Pohang City actively promoted not only key tourist destinations such as Homigot, Space Walk, and Jukdo Market, but also a variety of festivals and events unique to Pohang, including the Pohang International Fireworks Festival scheduled for June.
In particular, Pohang City attracted the attention of visitors by offering an interactive promotional experience tailored to current travel trends, such as proposing personalized travel courses based on an MBTI-type travel preference test.
Additionally, Pohang City operated an SNS subscription event at its promotional booth, providing participants with tourism brochures and souvenirs.
A visitor from the Seoul metropolitan area who attended the expo commented, "I had no idea that Pohang was such an emotional and diverse city. If I get the chance, I would love to attend the Fireworks Festival with my family."
Yoon Cheonsu, head of the Tourism Industry Division, stated, "This expo allowed us to communicate effectively with our target audience," and added, "We will continue to discover and develop emotional and creative content unique to Pohang."
The All That Travel Expo, co-hosted by COEX and the Korea Tourism Startup Association, is the largest travel industry expo in Korea, featuring the latest travel information and tourism products covering inbound, outbound, and intrabound travel. This year, more than 300 organizations and groups participated.
