On this day, the Kibosarang Volunteer Group visited the welfare center and participated in volunteer activities by assisting with the Hyo Festival event. They shared specially prepared meals with more than 600 local senior citizens and delivered the Hyo (Filial Piety) Love Boxes, which were filled with local agricultural and marine products.
The Love Boxes delivered this time were composed of local agricultural and marine products purchased from Cheoltuk Market, with which Kibo has a sisterhood partnership, as part of the "May Companion Festival" organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. During the festival period, Kibo supported the local economy by utilizing traditional markets and shared warm wishes with the senior citizens.
Kim Jongho, Chairman of Kibo, stated, "I am very pleased to have been able to create such a meaningful occasion together with the welfare center in celebration of Parents' Day," and added, "I hope that this sharing activity served as a time to express our gratitude and warm affection to the local senior citizens." He continued, "Kibo will continue to steadily engage in various social contribution activities that can provide practical help to the local community."
Meanwhile, Kibo has been consistently carrying out social contribution activities focusing on three themes: supporting the underprivileged, promoting local coexistence, and contributing to education. Recently, the company also took the lead in realizing social value by donating 48 million won for the recovery of large-scale wildfire damage and support for disaster victims.
