Welkins Ranks No. 1 in Health Mask Category for Fifth Consecutive Year in 2025 Brand Customer Loyalty Survey

Welkins Group (Chairman and CEO of Welkins Consumable Park Jonghan) announced on May 8 that its household goods brand, Welkins, operated by its affiliate Welkins Consumable, has proven its excellence and high level of trustworthiness by being ranked No. 1 in the health mask category for the fifth consecutive year in the "2025 Brand Customer Loyalty Survey."

This survey was based on the Brand Customer Loyalty Index (BCLI), jointly developed by the Korea Consumer Forum and Brand Keys, one of the top 10 research consulting firms in the United States. From March 17 to 30, a total of 622,574 domestic consumers participated, generating 1,992,842 data points. The survey was conducted through online and telephone questionnaires.

Welkins achieved the top spot in all five evaluation categories: brand trust, brand attachment, repurchase intention, recommendation intention, and switching intention. The company stated, "This result numerically demonstrates consumers' preference and loyalty to the brand," adding, "It is especially meaningful as it is based on the trust accumulated from consumers over a long period."

Welkins' flagship product, the "Yellow Dust Protection Mask KF94," features a high-efficiency four-layer filter that provides excellent protection against ultrafine dust and other infectious agents. In 2014, it became the first yellow dust and fine dust mask in Korea to receive certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the company was recognized as a "good company" for not raising mask prices.

Additionally, with its in-house research institute, Air Science Lab, and a production facility spanning 8,000 pyeong, Welkins is capable of producing approximately 120 million masks annually. The company is regarded as possessing top-tier capabilities in technology and quality control in Korea.

Welkins Consumable, which operates Welkins, has transformed itself from focusing primarily on masks, the group's core product, into a specialized household goods company. In particular, attention is being drawn to VUCA, a life care brand managed by Welkins Consumable.

VUCA, based on a product philosophy that values the balance between health and emotion, offers a range of practical and emotionally appealing products, including high-fluoride toothpaste, diffusers, and hair loss care shampoos. VUCA products are highly regarded not only for their functionality and fragrance balance but also for their design, establishing themselves as life care solutions that naturally integrate into consumers' daily lives.

A Welkins Consumable representative stated, "This award is a meaningful result for the brand, as it reflects the long-term value created based on consumer trust, beyond mere performance," adding, "We will continue to pursue quality innovation and customer-centric services across all product lines, including VUCA."
