Kim: "I Propose an Additional Meeting Tomorrow"
Han: "I Will Adjust My Schedule to Meet"
Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party presidential candidate, and Han Ducksoo, an independent preliminary candidate, are expected to hold an additional meeting a day after their first meeting ended without any results.
On the afternoon of the 7th, Kim proposed to Han that they meet on the 8th to continue discussions on unifying their candidacies. In a statement released through his campaign that day, Kim said, "To keep the momentum of the unification talks going, I propose an additional meeting with candidate Han Ducksoo tomorrow." In response, Han expressed a strong willingness to meet again, stating, "I will adjust my existing schedule to meet candidate Kim tomorrow."

Earlier, Kim and Han had a one-on-one meeting for about one hour and fifteen minutes at a restaurant in Jongno-gu, Seoul, in the afternoon. They attempted to reach a final agreement on candidate unification, but the meeting ended without any consensus.
After the first meeting broke down, the People Power Party revealed the results of a party member survey, stating that out of a total of 212,477 respondents, 82.8% said that candidate unification was necessary. Among them, 86.7% answered that unification should be achieved before candidate registration. The deadline for presidential candidate registration is the 11th.
