"I Am Boxer"
Scheduled to Air by the End of the Year
On May 7, tvN announced the production of the variety show "I Am Boxer." This boxing survival program was planned by actor Ma Dongseok, who is currently active as the head of a boxing gym. The show is scheduled to air by the end of the year and will also be available on global online video services (OTT). Starting today, contestants will be openly recruited, and filming will take place both in Korea and abroad.
The final participants will be selected personally by Ma Dongseok. A representative stated, "The final round is planned to be held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, United States, which is known as a 'mecca of boxing.'"
The production team includes producer Lee Wonung, who created the military survival show "Steel Troops" and the couple survival show "2 Billion 9 Million: Marriage War," as well as writer Kang Sookkyung, who worked on Netflix's "Physical: 100."
