KGCCI and Envisions Sign MOU
to Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
through "Dialogue in the Dark" Exhibition
The Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) announced on May 7 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Envisions Co., Ltd., which operates the experiential exhibition "Dialogue in the Dark," to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

The signing ceremony took place on May 2 at the KGCCI office building, with key representatives from both sides in attendance, including CEO Marie Antonia von Schoenburg and CEO Younghee Song of Envisions.
"Dialogue in the Dark" is a leading experiential exhibition that began in Germany in 1988 and has attracted approximately 12 million participants worldwide. In a space where light is completely blocked out, participants are guided by professional guides and experience the environment using senses other than sight, such as hearing, touch, and smell.
Under this agreement, KGCCI plans to hold special "Dialogue in the Dark" workshops for its member companies in June and July. This program is organized as a pre-event for the "11th Harmony Marathon with the Visually Impaired," which KGCCI co-hosts with the Seoul Association of the Blind. Through the workshop, participants will be able to continue their activities as walking assistants, deepening their empathy and understanding.
This program is particularly meaningful as it aims to improve awareness of the visually impaired and provides an opportunity for companies to practice DEI values. The exhibition, which lasts about 100 minutes, is expected to have a positive impact not only as a unique experience but also in spreading an inclusive organizational culture.
Marie Antonia von Schoenburg, CEO of KGCCI, stated, "KGCCI believes that collaboration is a powerful driver of change. Through our partnership with Envisions on 'Dialogue in the Dark,' we hope that awareness of inclusion will expand beyond the Korean-German business community to society as a whole, leading to genuine dialogue and meaningful action."
Younghee Song, CEO of Envisions, said, "This agreement is a good example of how business and social values can be harmonized. We hope to provide meaningful experiences for companies and, at the same time, further improve social awareness of the visually impaired."
