Operation of Facility Safety Suggestion Portal
Submit Safety Hazards or Facility Improvement Proposals
The National Museum of Korea announced on May 7 that it has launched a "Facility Safety Suggestion Portal" in line with its slogan, "A Museum for Everyone," to ensure safe visits for all. Through this portal, visitors can directly report safety hazards or suggest improvements to the museum's facilities.
Reports and suggestions fall into three categories: reporting damage to museum facilities or potential hazards, reporting fire risks, and proposing overall facility improvements.
To submit a report or suggestion, visitors can access the museum's homepage and participate by signing up as a member or verifying their identity via mobile phone authentication.
Submitted suggestions will be assigned to a staff member and processed promptly as a principle. Suggestions requiring mid- to long-term review will be actively considered when establishing facility improvement plans for the museum. The results of the suggestions will be communicated via text message and can also be checked on the homepage.
Kim Hoon, head of Facility Management at the National Museum of Korea, stated, "Since visitors themselves are directly participating, we expect this will help address blind spots in safety from a fresh perspective and enable us to respond proactively to factors that threaten the museum's safety. We kindly ask for your continued interest and a wide range of suggestions from all visitors."
