This event, marking the 103rd Children's Day, was hosted by Pohang City and organized by Gyeongbuk Maeil Newspaper. Under the theme "A Kids-Friendly Park Where Children Are Happy," a variety of programs were offered for the whole family to enjoy together.
The festival was comprised of Dream Park, where the commemorative ceremony and official stage were held; Play Park, which provided play spaces tailored to different age groups; and Funny Park, which combined hands-on experiences with safety education. These areas created unforgettable memories for the children.
At Dream Park, the festivities began with a lively sing-along dance, followed by the reading of the Children's Rights Charter and an awards ceremony for exemplary children, adding special meaning to the event. Family recreation activities, in which parents and children participated together, were also met with great enthusiasm.
Play Park featured age-appropriate play facilities, including an Infant Zone (spinning cups, dinosaur bounce), a Toddler Zone (handling cars, block playground), and a Kids Zone (shark bounce, Jungleland slide), providing spaces where children could run and play freely.
Funny Park was filled with engaging activities such as a police car experience, pre-registration of children's fingerprints for missing child prevention, a fire safety promotion center, a Marine Corps exhibition experience, and mobile safety education, all of which were very popular.

We will continue to expand cultural and experiential programs so that both children and families can be happy in our city."
