Presidential primary candidate Han Ducksoo attended a worship service at Jonggyo Church in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on May 4, 2025.
Kim Soyoung, spokesperson for Han's campaign, stated in a written briefing on the same day, "Candidate Han is registered as an elder deaconess at Jonggyo Church, and his wife, Choi Ayoung, is currently serving as a deacon at the same church." She added, "The two have maintained a deep relationship with this church for nearly 50 years."
After the service, Han had tea with Senior Pastor Jeon Changhee and expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for the gracious message."
According to the campaign, Pastor Jeon said, "Candidate Han is a registered member of our church. When he is busy, I remember that he quietly attended the youth worship service and then left."
