Not an 'Anti-Lee Jaemyung' Coalition, but a 'Big Tent for Constitutional Amendment'

During his visit to the Association of Former National Assembly Members on the same day, Han said, "I believe that those who oppose constitutional amendment will face the stern judgment of the people."
Targeting Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, Han argued, "Those who are obsessed with power cannot achieve constitutional amendment. The problem lies with political forces that pretend to agree with the amendment for political purposes, but then change their stance."
Han stated, "While it may be acceptable to change one's words on other issues, abruptly reversing one's position on the will to amend the Constitution or the content of the amendment constitutes a grave crime against the people."
Regarding the so-called 'anti-Lee Jaemyung big tent,' Han remarked, "Why should we form a big tent against a particular individual?" He added, "What we should do is form a big tent to amend the Constitution, which no longer fits the spirit of the times."
