Masanhoewon District, Changwon Special City: "Integrity as the Foundation, Public Service Discipline as the Priority, Neutrality in Elections"

Internal Training on Integrity and Public Service Conduct by the Forest Agriculture Department

On May 1, the Forest Agriculture Department of Masanhwoewon District in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, conducted an internal training session for its staff to reinforce integrity, establish public service discipline, and uphold the obligation of political neutrality as public officials.

The Masanhwoewon District Forest Agriculture Department is conducting an internal staff training session on the 1st.

This training was specifically organized to enhance the reliability of administrative services for citizens during the acting mayoral and presidential authority periods, due to the absence of the Changwon mayor and the president. It also aimed to encourage public officials to reflect sincerely on their commitment to serving the public.

Additionally, the department shared educational materials on election laws related to the obligation of political neutrality for public officials. These materials covered key precedents regarding: ▲the obligation of political neutrality for public officials, ▲the prohibition of intra-party primary campaigns and electioneering, ▲the prohibition of actions that may influence elections, and ▲cases of violations related to public officials' activities on social media.

Hong Seongho, Head of the Forest Agriculture Department, stated, "Integrity and public service discipline are values that cannot be overemphasized for our public officials and must be ingrained in both body and mind, practiced as a matter of habit." He added, "I ask that every effort be made to ensure there are no misunderstandings regarding the obligation of political neutrality for public officials."
