Mokpo Chamber of Commerce Holds Seminar on AI and Big Data Utilization Strategies

For Over 60 Participants Including Chamber Members and Local Company Executives and Employees

The Mokpo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Jung Hyuntaek) announced on April 30, 2025, that it held a seminar on AI and Big Data Utilization Strategies for business leaders at the Shangria Beach Hotel.

This seminar, co-hosted with the Smart Talent Development Institute (Director Ban Sugyeong), was organized to explore the changes and opportunities that AI technology will bring and to present practical utilization strategies for business leaders and entrepreneurs in the Mokpo region. The event was held in response to the recent trend of artificial intelligence (AI) technology becoming a core technology in various fields such as corporate management, industrial innovation, and personal productivity enhancement. It was attended by approximately 60 participants, including members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and executives and employees of local companies.

The seminar was divided into two sessions. The main topics included: ▲ "AI 2025: How Far Has It Evolved? Real-Time Changing AI Trends and Utilization Strategies" by Kim Deokjin, Director of the IT Communication Research Institute; ▲ "Data and Smart Factories" by Park Changjin, Director of the Jeonnam TP Center; and ▲ "The Future of Regional Industries Opened by AI and Data" by Ham Minhyeok, CEO of Zendata Co., Ltd.

Chairman Jung Hyuntaek stated, "I hope this seminar will be a valuable opportunity to gain insights into how AI technology can be utilized in various fields and how it can be applied in real business settings."
