Siheung City to Hold Children's Day Commemoration Event at Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park on May 3

Various Programs Including Performances, Games, and Hands-on Activities Provided

Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "103rd Children's Day Commemoration Event" at Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park on May 3.

This event, organized by the Siheung City Regional Child Center Council under the theme "A Precious Playground for Siheung's Children," will feature a commemorative ceremony, performances, and various hands-on programs.

The event will begin with performances by the Siheung City Children's Choir and a magic show, followed by the official commemorative ceremony. During the ceremony, a special umbrella performance will be held with guests and children participating together.

A variety of performances are also scheduled. In the first part, there will be a Taekwondo demonstration by the Siheung City team and cultural performances by children's groups. In the second part, youth dance teams will take the stage.

Visitors can enjoy a range of content at the "Retro Photo Zone," where parents can share nostalgic memories, as well as at booths featuring traditional games, an art playground, and various experience and promotional activities.

In case of rain, the Children's Day commemorative ceremony, performances, and small-scale experience booths will be held at the Neumnae Hall and the first-floor lobby of Siheung City Hall.
