LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam to Host Children's Day Event on May 4-5

Various Events Including Popular Character Performances
and 25 Types of Interactive Booths

Korea Racing Authority's LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam (headed by Eom Youngseok) will host a large-scale interactive festival for children and family visitors during the May golden holiday.

LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam will hold the "Children's Let's Play Festival" at the Derby Square inside the racecourse on May 4 and 5.

This event, themed "Together, Joyfully," will feature a variety of content, including popular animation performances, hands-on programs, and photo events, offering special memories for family visitors.

On the main stage at Derby Square, a range of performances will take place, such as a hand puppet show, bubble magic show, and children's cheerleading performance. In particular, the sing-along show of the popular animation "Momma Katuri" is scheduled for May 4, and the "Bread Barbershop" performance will be held on May 5. After the performances, there will be photo sessions with the main characters, adding to the enjoyment for visitors.

At the experience booths set up throughout the square, a total of 25 hands-on activities will be available, including Perler beads, coloring, tarot, painting, and crafts. In addition, programs for experiencing police and fire station jobs, as well as careers in the horse industry, will be offered, adding educational value. During the festival, miniature horses will appear, providing a unique experience for children who are not familiar with horses.

At "Horse Island" in the LetsRun Park lakeside park, a giant "Malma" doll, 8 meters tall, has been installed to commemorate this Children's Day. "Malma," the signature character of Korea Racing Authority, expresses the gentleness of horses with its expressionless face and half-closed eyes. During the event, a "Children's Day Certification Photo Challenge" will also be held, using "Malma" as the backdrop.

LetsRun Park is thoroughly preparing for safety by deploying professional safety personnel and operating an on-site situation room, anticipating large crowds. In addition, food trucks and rest areas will be available to enhance visitor convenience. Admission is free during the festival period.

Eom Youngseok, head of the Busan-Gyeongnam regional headquarters, stated, "This event is composed of a variety of programs tailored to children's perspectives. I hope it will be a meaningful time for families to enjoy together and create unforgettable memories."
