This incentive support program, launched in conjunction with the Year of Visiting Imsil, will continue until the allocated budget is exhausted. Eligible recipients are travel agencies registered under the Tourism Promotion Act. To qualify, agencies must meet requirements such as visiting tourist attractions within the county and using local restaurants, and must have a minimum number of participants. The support is provided at 350,000 won per bus. To receive the incentive, travel agencies must submit a pre-trip plan and itinerary at least three days before the trip.
After the trip, agencies must submit an application and supporting documents within 15 days to receive payment. Detailed information can be found on the Imsil County website's public notice board. In addition to the existing incentive program, the county plans to offer additional support in May and June through the "Travel Month Linked Jeonbuk Specialized Program" support project. Furthermore, during the annual Imsil N Cheese Festival and Imsil Santa Festival, the special support amount is increased to 500,000 won.
In celebration of the 2025 Year of Visiting Imsil, the county is preparing a variety of benefits and programs to attract tourists. These include accommodation discounts, influencer invitation fam tours, Imsil tours for university students in the province, incentive support for travel agencies attracting group tourists, and a range of tour programs and special benefits to offer visitors a more memorable travel experience.
County Governor Shim Min stated, "As we celebrate the 2025 Year of Visiting Imsil, we will accelerate efforts to attract group tourists by developing attractive tourism products that showcase Imsil's charm," adding, "We hope to see an influx of external tourists and revitalization of the local economy to realize the goal of 10 million visitors to Imsil."
