Gwangju Transportation Corporation (President: Cho Ikmun) announced on April 30 that it will openly recruit 18 new employees in general and public positions to improve urban rail services and create local jobs.
The recruitment will be for the following positions: 1 general office staff, 1 records management officer, 5 train crew, 1 communications technician, 1 electronics technician, 1 vehicle technician, and 1 mechanical technician in general positions; and 1 station operations worker and 6 cleaning staff in public positions.
There are no restrictions regarding educational background, gender, or major for applicants. However, there are regional requirements, such as residency in Gwangju or graduation from a local school. In addition, certain positions?including records manager, train crew, and cleaning staff?require specific qualifications, so applicants should check the official announcement for detailed requirements. Applications will be accepted only through the Gwangju City integrated recruitment application website from May 9 to 15.
