Descente Golf, the premium performance golf wear brand operated by Descente Korea, held the '2025 Vision Showcase' at Club D Cheongdam in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, unveiling its new FW collection for the second half of the year.
This showcase was organized to share Descente Golf’s brand concept and direction for the second half of the year. At the event, Descente Golf introduced new products that emphasize powerful performance, aiming to effectively respond to the golf market’s recent shift toward core golfers.
Since the beginning of this year, Descente Golf has strengthened its position as a performance brand through collections based on a renewed concept. In particular, this FW collection uses high-performance imported specialty fabrics to enhance product reliability, and further upgrades functional details such as ergonomic patterns and fits that consider body movement from address to finish. To help golfers enjoy the sport in a variety of conditions, windproof and water-repellent functions have been reinforced to address large temperature fluctuations, strong winds, and severe cold caused by abnormal weather patterns.
Additionally, the brand has incorporated feedback from professional athletes to create fits optimized for Korean body types and has carefully considered the impact of golf wear on performance during play.
The main product lines for the second half of the year are centered on 'ACMT' and include three key offerings: 'Zero Gravity Down' and the 'Silence Block Series.' ACMT is Descente Golf’s top-tier label, representing the brand’s pinnacle of technology and design, and has received a strong response since its launch earlier this year. For the upcoming season, the line will focus on performance enhancement through highly elastic three-dimensional patterns designed for scapular and latissimus dorsi movement during swings, as well as the organic combination of thick seasonal materials and filling.
'Zero Gravity Down,' a down product designed for winter swings, is part of the ACMT line. It uses ultra-lightweight 'Pertex' fabric, which is highly breathable and waterproof, providing a balance between wind protection and breathability. Its lightweight nature allows for comfortable layering, and it features 'Primaloft,' a synthetic insulation material developed at the request of the U.S. Army, to deliver excellent warmth and thermal efficiency even in cold and damp environments.
The Silence Block Series, based on the 'Noiseless' concept, minimizes friction noise generated at areas like the torso, sides, and elbows, enhancing player immersion. As an upgraded version of the Silence Series launched at the end of last year, this year’s line has improved windproof and waterproof functions and uses lightweight, highly stretchable materials for comfort during extended wear.
Meanwhile, since the first half of this year, Descente Golf has been driving a performance-focused brand renewal, achieving positive rebranding effects through a strategic portfolio realignment that includes expanding high-performance products and set-up apparel. This has been confirmed both quantitatively and qualitatively in the first quarter (January to March) results, and is seen as a meaningful achievement despite stagnation in the golf wear market.
A Descente Golf representative stated, "We plan to expand the share of Storm Fleece set-ups and increase the proportion of the ACMT line, which currently accounts for about 20% of all apparel, to around 30% by 2026."
