Following the recent large-scale wildfire in the Andong region of North Gyeongsang Province, which caused significant damage, warm-hearted support for the victims has been pouring in from all walks of life across the country. Donations and relief supplies are arriving one after another, lending strength to the recovery efforts.

Warm Hearts Gathered Nationwide, Heartwarming Support for Andong Wildfire Victims.

Bang Golf, a premium golf equipment brand, provided heartfelt support for the affected residents by donating 10 million won in cash and clothing worth 40 million won. The Gwangju District of the International Lions Club also contributed to the recovery by delivering a donation of 28 million won.

In addition, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Bar Association and Bupyeong Church each donated 10 million won, while the Asan Volunteer Fire Brigade sent a donation of 6.94 million won. The volunteer group of beauty company KERKER supported the daily recovery of the victims by providing essential items such as towels and shampoo.

The local community also joined in. The Yeongho Elementary School Alumni Association and the ninth graduating class of Imha Middle School each donated 5 million won, putting neighborly love into practice.

An official from Andong City stated, "The warm attention and support from all sectors are providing great strength to residents struggling with wildfire damage," and added, "We will ensure that the donated funds and goods are delivered promptly and fairly."

Meanwhile, Andong City continues to strengthen public-private cooperation for wildfire recovery and plans to carry on with fundraising activities for additional support.
