[Tomorrow's Weather] Early Summer Daytime... Seoul Highs Up to 26 Degrees

On April 30, most areas are expected to be clear and dry, with daytime temperatures rising to early summer levels.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, on April 30, morning lows across the country are forecast to range from 6 to 13 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will range from 19 to 28 degrees Celsius. Until the morning of May 1, temperatures are expected to be similar to or slightly higher than the seasonal averages (lows of 7 to 12 degrees Celsius and highs of 19 to 23 degrees Celsius).

In Seoul, the daytime high will reach 26 degrees Celsius, while in Daegu, Daejeon, Jeonju, and Gangneung, highs will approach 27 degrees Celsius. In inland areas, the temperature difference between day and night will be around 15 degrees Celsius, so extra care should be taken to manage your health.


On the west coast and in the mountainous areas of Gangwon, wind gusts are expected to reach speeds of 35 to 55 kilometers per hour, so caution is advised for facility management and fire prevention.


Wave heights are expected to range from 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore areas, wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea.
