Yecheon County in Gyeongbuk has launched "Proactive Administration Training" for public officials to promote a culture of proactive administration and realize citizen-centered governance.
Yecheon County in Gyeongbuk is conducting proactive administration training for public officials. The lecturer on this day is Secretary Kim Sunghoon.
On April 29, the county announced that it held the "2025 Yecheon County Proactive Administration Training" for its staff in the main auditorium of the county office, aiming to strengthen their capacity to implement proactive administration.
This training was organized to realize administration that residents can truly experience, by innovating the public service culture and enhancing creative work capabilities.
The lecture was delivered by Kim Sunghoon, a proactive administration specialist from the Ministry of Personnel Management, who helped public officials understand the topic through various case studies and an introduction to relevant systems under the theme "5G Proactive Administration that Changes Citizens' Daily Lives."
In particular, the lecture focused on practical content that can be applied to daily work, including the necessity of proactive administration, strategies for its implementation, and the presentation of ideas to enhance creativity and innovation.
Kim Hakdong, the Governor of Yecheon County, emphasized, "Proactive administration is the key driving force that brings about real change in the lives of our residents," and urged, "I hope all public officials will take this opportunity to practice administration for the people."
Meanwhile, Yecheon County is accelerating the establishment and spread of proactive administration by implementing various initiatives such as the operation of a proactive administration mileage system and the selection of outstanding proactive public officials.
