Under the Theme "Today is Children's Day, Our World"
The Jinan Regional Child Center Association (President Lee Eunkyung, hereafter referred to as Jinjiyeon) announced on April 29 that the 23rd Children's Day Grand Festival will be held at Jinan Public Stadium on May 3 to celebrate the 23rd Children's Day.
This event is organized by Jinjiyeon and sponsored by Nanum Food Co., Ltd. and Jinan Nonghyup Hanaro Mart. Under the theme "Today is Children's Day, Our World," the Grand Festival will kick off with a performance by the Jinan Children's Choir, officially opening the festivities.
At the venue, there will be 11 experience booths, including bead crafts and pouch decorating, as well as 5 food booths where visitors can enjoy a variety of snacks. In addition, a cheerful sports day, balloon, bubble, and cotton candy performances, and a prize drawing event are also planned. In particular, the fire hose demonstration by the Jinan Fire Station, which was very popular last year, will return this year, promising a special opportunity to cool off in the midday heat.
Alongside these activities, the children's flea market "I'm the Boss" will also take place. This program allows children to share items they no longer use, giving them a chance to experience the importance of resource recycling and environmental conservation. Anyone can participate in this event.
President Lee Eunkyung said, "Thirteen organizations have worked together for over two months to ensure that children can have a happy Children's Day," and added, "I hope this event will bring more children to Jinan, where they can enjoy a joyful and memorable time."
