Former President Yoon left the official residence in Hannam-dong on April 11, one week after the Constitutional Court's decision to remove him from office, and moved to his private residence at Acro Vista in Seocho-dong. Two days later, he was seen walking through the underground shopping mall at Acro Vista with his security personnel. On April 20, a photo was released showing him dining with attorneys Kim Gyeri and Bae Euicheol, who represented him in the impeachment trial. On that day, attorney Kim posted a photo with former President Yoon on his social media, writing, "The first president I voted for with my own hand. Yoon Father (Yoon Seokyeol's nickname). Be calm and strong." On April 17, attorneys Kim and Bae had announced plans to hold a press conference to launch a new party called 'Yoon Again,' but canceled the event after being dissuaded by members of the People Power Party.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Central District Court is proceeding with the trial against former President Yoon on charges of leading an insurrection. Although he was indicted and detained, the court later canceled his detention, and he is currently standing trial without being in custody.
