Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Donghoon) announced on April 29 that it will hold an 'IQ Box' pop-up event at the Children's Day pop-up venue on the basement first floor of the main building until May 5.

IQ Box is the official Korean importer of European toy brands established in 1988, and is creating a new toy culture by adding Euro Play, which embodies a timeless history and sentiment.

IQ Box's 'Playmobil' is a leading German brand that has been loved worldwide since 1974.

Playmobil is characterized by 7.5 cm tall figures with always smiling faces, and offers a wide variety of series for 'role play' in different fields such as hospitals, police, fire stations, Rome, and knights.

The Gwangju Shinsegae pop-up store features large stand-type figures that can be used as photo zones. Playmobil products are available at a 10% to 30% discount during the pop-up event.

'Brio' is a premium toy brand certified by the Swedish royal family, loved not only by children but also by adults interested in interior design, thanks to its sophisticated and luxurious Scandinavian design and color palette.

Brio products meet the safety standards of various European countries and the United States, are made from Nordic beechwood for durability, and contain no small parts, so there is no risk of young children swallowing them.

Representative products include the Farm Electric Train Set, Deluxe Train Play Set, and Central Station Rail Set, all of which are offered at a 10% discount during the pop-up period. In addition, visitors can also find 'Technodidattica,' an Italian brand specializing in globes, and 'Dolls World,' a British doll brand.

Furthermore, the European premium baby toy brand 'Ollie and Carol,' specializing in naturalistic baby teething toys, is also being showcased. Their teething toys come in friendly, realistically designed shapes such as bananas, corn, and tulips, with various textures and colors. These eco-friendly toys can be used as both rattles and teethers.

Developed in collaboration with ENT specialists, Ollie and Carol products are made from 100% natural materials, using natural rubber derived from trees and plant-based natural dyes. This gives them a soft and flexible texture that silicone and plastic products cannot provide.

Ollie and Carol is an eco-friendly brand committed to sustainability, minimizing microplastics and carbon emissions from production to logistics. All products at the Ollie and Carol store are available at a 25% discount for a limited time during the pop-up event.

Kim Yooncheol, head of the fashion team at Gwangju Shinsegae, said, "Ahead of Children's Day, we are presenting cute items that will make great gifts for children," and added, "We hope visitors will come to the Gwangju Shinsegae pop-up store and share their hearts with adorable gifts."
