Premium Makgeolli 'Jipyeong Buui' and 'Jipyeong Seoktan' Launched

On April 29, Jipyeong Brewery announced the launch of 'Jipyeong Buui' and 'Jipyeong Seoktan,' two new products that reinterpret the depth of traditional Makgeolli in a modern way to mark the company's 100th anniversary.

'Jipyeong Buui' is characterized by a high glutinous rice content, which creates a subtle sweet aroma and a dense body that harmonizes with the natural flavor of nuruk. Its clean acidity and smooth sweetness make it an ideal aperitif. 'Jipyeong Seoktan' is a Takju with an appealing fruity aroma that spreads in the mouth and a dry taste; it is strong yet goes down smoothly, making it suitable for pairing with light dishes as well as for enjoying as a dessert drink.

Both products have been released in 375ml bottles with an alcohol content of 12%, taking into consideration pairing with fine dining. With the launch of these high-end Makgeolli products, Jipyeong Brewery aims to present new possibilities for Makgeolli in the premium liquor market and to elevate the stature of traditional Korean alcoholic beverages.

Jipyeong Brewery is currently offering 'Jipyeong Buui' and 'Jipyeong Seoktan' first at the Korean dining restaurant 'Punju (PUNJU)' in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and plans to expand online distribution channels so that more consumers can experience premium Makgeolli.
