On April 28, the company held an “All-in-One Air Care System (air sterilizer) donation ceremony” at two senior centers located in Gampo-eup and Munmu Daewang-myeon, Gyeongju, and donated a total of 78 air sterilizers.

The air sterilizers are expected to play a significant role in preventing respiratory diseases among seniors caused by worsening pollen and fine dust in spring, as well as in maintaining clean indoor air.

The donation ceremonies, held separately at the Dosan Yangji Senior Center in Munmu Daewang-myeon and Najung 1-ri Senior Center in Gampo-eup, were attended by local figures including Woo Chudong, head of the Munmu Daewang-myeon Village Leaders’ Association, and Jeon Cheolho, head of the Gampo-eup Village Leaders’ Association, who expressed their warm support.

In particular, Wolsong Headquarters employees visited the senior centers, spent meaningful time with the seniors by demonstrating how to use the newly installed air sterilizers, and shared conversations together.

In 2022, the company provided 42 food waste processors to Gampo-eup and 50 massage chairs to Munmu Daewang-myeon, and in 2023, it supplied 21 Ceragem medical devices to Gampo-eup.

Additionally, in Yangnam-myeon, 39 air sterilizers were provided in 2024, and the company plans to support massage chairs there this year.

Jung Wonho, Head of Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, “We will continue to seek ways and provide support to make community spaces such as village halls and senior centers more pleasant and hygienic, so that we can take the lead in helping local residents maintain their health.”
