Mujin Medical Foundation Donates 10 Million Won in Hometown Love Donations to Hwasun County for Third Consecutive Year

Hwasun County (Governor Bokgyu Goo) announced on April 28 that on the 25th, Mujin Medical Foundation Chairman Jae Taek Kim and his spouse, Vice Chairman Jeonga Lee, each donated 5 million won, for a total of 10 million won, as hometown love donations to Hwasun County, continuing their high-value donations for the third consecutive year.


Chairman Jae Taek Kim and Vice Chairman Jeonga Lee have participated in the hometown love donation program every year since 2023, with their cumulative donations reaching 30 million won. They are praised as exemplary "donation angels" in the Hwasun region.


During the donation ceremony, Hwasun County presented a plaque of appreciation to commemorate their registration as high-value donors for three consecutive years.


Mujin Medical Foundation Chairman Jae Taek Kim stated, "As someone from Hwasun, I am actually grateful to be able to support the development of my hometown through the hometown love donation program," and added, "I hope the donations will be used meaningfully as valuable resources for the local community and vulnerable groups."


Vice Chairman Jeonga Lee also said, "While running a hospital in Hwasun, I have always worked together with the local community," and continued, "My spouse and I thought about what the most meaningful thing we could do together would be. After much consideration, we decided to once again express our hearts through the hometown love donation program this year, and we will continue to practice our love for our hometown in the future."


Governor Bokgyu Goo of Hwasun County expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank both of you for practicing sharing with unwavering commitment for three consecutive years to participate in the development and transformation of Hwasun," and promised, "We will do our utmost to ensure that your hometown love donations become a valuable foundation for regional development and the improvement of residents' welfare."


Mujin Medical Foundation operates Hyundae Convalescent Hospital, Hyundae Funeral Hall, an integrated cancer treatment center, and Hyundae Elderly Care Center, and is dedicated to treating patients suffering from various geriatric diseases.
