BNK Financial Group (Chairman Bin Daein) is actively recruiting external talent, focusing on core areas that will determine its future competitiveness.


While this move reflects the financial sector's trend toward performance-based appointments that emphasize expertise and capability, it is also seen as an embodiment of Chairman Bin Daein's personnel philosophy, which stresses the importance of change and innovation throughout the organization by harmonizing new perspectives from external talent with the internal organization.


BNK Financial Group is bringing in three external experts at the group level: a Chief Risk Officer (CRO), a digital specialist, and a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) who will also serve as Chief Privacy Officer (CPO). This is part of the group's efforts to enhance its risk management system, strengthen digital competitiveness, and bolster information security.


With these new hires, the group expects not only to respond quickly and flexibly to the rapidly changing financial environment, but also to integrate external experience and expertise into the organization. This is anticipated to enhance the execution of the group's mid- to long-term initiatives, substantially strengthen internal response capabilities, and build a foundation for securing the group's mid- to long-term competitiveness through the development of human resources.


Last year, BNK Financial Group continued to strengthen its expertise in key areas by appointing professional executives to major positions, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO), WM.Pension Group Head, and Treasury Market Group Head?a rare move among regional financial institutions.
