The county has been selected for this public contest project for five consecutive years, securing 900 million won in national funding. Including this national funding, a total of 3.9 billion won will be invested to implement the project at 470 sites across nine towns and townships.

If a solar power generation system (3kW) is installed in a residence, it is expected to reduce electricity bills by approximately 600,000 won per year (50,000 won per month), which is anticipated to attract high interest and positive response from residents.

Applications can be submitted in person at the town or township offices from the 30th of this month until the 16th of next month. For more details, please contact the New Growth Industry Team of the Future Growth Division.

Governor Kim San stated, "We will continue to implement the renewable energy convergence public contest project to reduce energy costs, increase energy self-sufficiency, and ensure that county residents receive even greater benefits."

Meanwhile, over the four years from 2021 to 2024, the county completed and has been operating a total of 1,683 renewable energy convergence support projects at nine towns and townships.
