Busan Office of Education Shares Public Education Innovation with Visiting Mongolian Principals

Expectations for the Advancement of Public Education in Mongolia

The Busan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) conducted a training program on Busan's public education policies and organized visits to educational sites for 26 Mongolian principals who visited Busan over five days from April 20 to 24.

This training was arranged to allow the Mongolian education sector to benchmark Busan's public education system and to explore directions for developing teacher competencies.

Jeon Seungsun, Director of the Educational Policy Research Institute at the Busan Office of Education, delivered a lecture titled "Busan Public Education Policy and the Role of Teachers," providing the Mongolian principals with guidance on the direction of public education innovation.

The visiting group also toured Busan Software Meister High School and the SW·AI Education Hub Center, where they experienced actual educational environments and had discussions with practitioners.

Superintendent Kim Seokjun said, "I hope this exchange will serve as an opportunity to expand the educational cooperation network with Mongolia and to share the excellence of Busan's education internationally."
