- Any domestic resident aged 19 or older can apply nationwide, regardless of the number of homes owned or subscription savings accounts
- Last chance to secure a unit before first-come, first-served sales begin
The Doosan Engineering & Construction consortium will be accepting non-priority subscription applications for "Changwon Megacity Xi & Weave," located in Jinhae-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam, over two days from April 29 (Tuesday) to April 30 (Wednesday). As this is the last and only opportunity before first-come, first-served contracts begin, a large number of applicants is expected.
According to data from Real Estate R114, over the past five years (2021?2025), the total number of first-priority subscription applications for five new housing complexes in Jinhae-gu was only 359. In contrast, Changwon Megacity Xi & Weave received a total of 3,544 applications, attracting nearly 10 times more applicants than the total number of first-priority applications in Jinhae-gu over the past five years. Analysts attribute this popularity in the increasingly polarized regional pre-sale market to the project's strong product appeal, which matches both the positive development prospects in the surrounding area and the brand power.
The complex plans to offer a limited number of remaining units, which became available due to ineligible applicants, through the non-priority subscription process. The schedule is as follows: the official announcement will be posted on the official website on April 28 (Monday), applications will be accepted over two days from April 29 (Tuesday) to April 30 (Wednesday), and the winners will be announced on May 1 (Thursday).
Applications can be submitted on the official website, and any domestic resident aged 19 or older is eligible to apply, regardless of the number of homes owned or subscription savings accounts. With demand expanding nationwide, fierce competition is anticipated. Buyers will benefit from financial incentives such as full interest-free loans for 60% of the interim payment and a flat-rate first down payment of 10 million won. There are no restrictions on re-winning or resale, and there is no requirement for actual residence.
In particular, in Jinhae-gu, where the complex is located, the price competitiveness of this project is becoming more prominent as prices for new complexes scheduled for future pre-sale are expected to be higher. According to industry sources, the pre-sale price for the nearby Gyeonghwa Housing Redevelopment Project is set at 13.8 million won per 3.3 square meters in the management disposition plan, with the actual pre-sale price expected to be even higher. This makes now the best opportunity to secure a landmark complex at the lowest price.
Meanwhile, Changwon Megacity Xi & Weave, supplied through the Daeya District Redevelopment Project in Yeojwa-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam, will consist of 17 buildings ranging from four basement levels to 37 above-ground floors, with a total of 2,638 units. Of these, 2,041 units with exclusive areas of 54?102 square meters will be sold to the general public. The model home is located in Jungang-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongsangnam-do, and move-in is scheduled for December 2028.
