Daegu Happiness Promotion Social Service Agency (Chairman Bae Ki-chul) has been accepting the first round of applications for the 2024 Lifelong Education Voucher since April 24. The Lifelong Education Voucher is a program that supports tuition and textbook fees for low-income individuals, people with disabilities, seniors, and those wishing to receive digital education, enabling them to participate in a variety of lifelong learning courses. The main target groups are low-income adults (priority given to basic livelihood security recipients and near-poor individuals aged 19 and older), persons with disabilities (registered individuals aged 19 and older), single-parent family support recipients, seniors (aged 65 and older), and those wishing to take lifelong education courses related to digital skills (aged 30 and older). Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency expects that approximately 4,800 citizens will benefit from the voucher this year.
