The Federation of Korean Industries, in collaboration with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, KB Financial Group, Habitat for Humanity Korea, and the Liberation Association, is launching the "Prestige Store Project" as part of the 80th anniversary of Liberation. This initiative is a program designed to support the growth of small business owners who are descendants of independence patriots, and the term "Prestige Store" signifies "a store that embodies honor."
Selected participants will receive a comprehensive solution aimed at boosting sales and instilling pride. This includes remodeling of stores and auxiliary facilities, year-round management consulting, and the provision of a Prestige Store plaque.
The application period runs from May 1 to May 23. Applications can be submitted through the FKI CSV Team or any of the 17 regional branches of the Liberation Association nationwide. The selection committee will consist of representatives from the organizing institutions as well as external members, and the final selection results will be announced in May. Detailed information can be found in the notices section on the FKI website.
The FKI stated, "The social development achieved over the past 80 years since Liberation is thanks to the sacrifices of our independence heroes," adding, "Expressing gratitude and repaying them is a social responsibility shared by both businesses and citizens." The organization further emphasized, "This project also carries the significance of supporting small business owners amid the worst economic conditions."
