Starting April 27, Samsung Electronics launched its "AI Home Appliance Troika" campaign, aiming to strengthen its leadership in the home appliance sector. The campaign has drawn attention as Kim Yuna, Han Ga In, and Jun Ji Hyun?who previously represented Samsung Electronics in home appliance advertisements?have returned as campaign models.
Samsung Electronics is highlighting its AI technology, focusing on its three top-selling home appliances: air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators. Kim Yuna previously modeled for Hauzen air conditioners and Wind-Free air conditioners, Han Ga In for Hauzen washing machines, and Jun Ji Hyun for Zipel refrigerators. For this campaign, the three have reunited as the "AI Troika."
Through this campaign, Samsung Electronics plans to spotlight its latest AI-powered home appliances?including the Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo air conditioner, Bespoke AI Combo washer-dryer, and Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max refrigerator?reinforcing the image of "AI home appliances = Samsung."
The "Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo" air conditioner, equipped with Wind-Free technology and AI features, saw its first-quarter sales increase by more than 50% year-on-year. The "Bespoke AI Combo" washer-dryer sold 10,000 units within about 40 days of its launch last year, and this year, Samsung is expanding the market with a new model featuring the largest capacity in Korea and enhanced AI capabilities. The "Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max" refrigerator is designed to improve interior aesthetics and installation convenience.
The teaser video for the "AI Home Appliance Troika" campaign, titled "Summon Edition," released by Samsung Electronics, looks back on past advertisements and introduces products newly transformed with AI features. Kim Yuna, recalling her previous air conditioner commercial, explained, "These days, air conditioners are Wind-Free and AI adjusts everything." Han Ga In commented, "With an AI washing machine, there’s nothing to worry about because it takes care of everything." Jun Ji Hyun, referencing her past Zipel refrigerator advertisement, emphasized, "Now, refrigerators even suggest recipes with AI."
In the upcoming main video, the three models will directly experience Samsung Electronics’ AI home appliances and share how their daily lives have changed.
Lim Sungtaek, Executive Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea, stated, "The 'AI Home Appliance Troika' campaign was designed to convey, in a friendly way, how innovations in Samsung home appliances have made everyday life more convenient." He added, "We will continue to strengthen the formula of 'AI home appliances = Samsung' through differentiated products and marketing."
