Fall Accident on Gwanaksan in Gwacheon... Man in His 60s in Cardiac Arrest

On the morning of April 26, a hiker suffered a fall accident on Gwanaksan Mountain in Jungang-dong, Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province.

According to the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters, a report was received at approximately 8:53 a.m. that a man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, had fallen while descending Gwanaksan Mountain.

Upon receiving the witness report, fire authorities responded to the scene, approached the location where Mr. A had fallen using a helicopter, and rescued him with a hoist device before transporting him to a nearby hospital. Mr. A is currently reported to be in cardiac arrest.

The fire authorities and police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
